Splice Protection: Its primary function is to provide permanent mechanical and environmental protection for the delicate glass fusion splice point where two fibers are joined.

Heat-Shrink Technology: It is a heat-shrinkable tube assembly. When heated in a splicing machine oven, the outer sleeve shrinks and the inner adhesive melts, securing the splice.

Single Fiber (SF) Design: Specifically designed for single optical fibers, not ribbon fiber cables.
